My 10 Golden Rules in Life
#1 Never compromise..Never sacrifice..you r all u've got
Always think of third alternatives..think win/win.
#2 "El Reddaah" since u r living ur life either way..so live it satisfied.Have a very strong faith that whatever's going on is for ur own good and too bad u can't see it clearly yet, u eventually will.
#3 Expect the least, never the best
If u got the best then yaay rejoice and feel happy, if you got the least then u expected it already.No disappointments.
#4 You owe people nothing..You owe urself everything
#5 There are absolutely no constants in life
everything is prone to changes..there's no "forever".
#6 Sadness is a waste of time make ur own happiness, instigate it even."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they make the best of everything that comes along their way".
#7 Never under estimate urself
If people can't see how great you are then the joke is on them.
#8 "Seek first to understand than to be understood" (Steven R Covey)
Listen carefully understand throughly b4 u expect people to listen to you.Reach out to people b4 they ever think of reaching back to you.
#9 Don't hide inside ur shell for long
cos people & life will miss u.If the shell is protecting u, it's blocking others from understanding u.You can run to ur shell at hard times but don't stay there for long.
#10 Never Ever think that you got everything & that you knew it all.Learn from ur mistakes.."Experience is what u get when u were expecting something else".Keep on learning from life.

It's one of these days
It's one of these days when I don't want to talk to anyone or even hear anyone speak, so I thought of coming home to my blog.
It's been a while since i've last written something, many events happened some few happy moments, ofcourse the shortest amongest the other events, but the most important one is NagNag, my bro, getting his masters degree..I'm so proud of him I don't think i'll get to be any prouder..may be when he gets his PHD degree isA..that brings us to what i've been dreading for so long..i'm dreading his departure.
Things won't be the same when he leaves, more troubles expected ofcourse..more than the current daily down heartning encounters I keep facing, coming to be a habit actually!!
I wish I could black out for a year or so just dreamless sleep, the thought enough is so relieving.
So bring it on life, i haven't seen ur worse yet..I'll be standing right here on my twos

Mind ur own figure!!
Why do people get so frenzy about me getting fatter?!..like there's not enough fat people in the world to begin with and by the way for your knowledge people I do like my figure and yes i'm aware that i'm skinny even. Furthermore, who could possibly go thru what i've been thru & still got an appetite for nutrition?.
So next time anyone throws a comment on my figure, I'll look him/her in the eye and say "Please, mind ur own figure".

"WHO" does "WHAT" EXACTLY?
Why don't we apply significant role assingement?, One of the argument was that it's much fasterto do it myself!. Is that a good argument?!
For example why would I as a developer answer the phone?!, why would a financial manger do an hr job?!why would a manger do an administrator job?!
Can u see where I'm heading..this is Chaos people!!!..If it will take a longer time for the right assinged pesonnel to do his job than if you do it urself, then may b we need to reassign jobs in a more efficient way.
I'll call it the "who does what syndrome?!". It'll lead to lots of pressure on youif you r doing ur own tasks subsided by other tasks that others should do. The bigger problem is that the assigned people for that task would take ur voluntary action as a regular thing and at the end of the road you will find urself doing "everything" urself.
Now was that a good argument after all?!

This Code gave me a hard time!!
class SalesTarget < ActiveRecord::Base
def before_save()
@result = SalesTarget.find_by_sql("select newid() as id")
self.rowguid =@result[0].id
end
end
But it didn't work as I desired, it kept on giving me the following error:
Can't cast int into a unique identifier
I spent so many hours trying to speculate where I went wrong but in vain. It turned out that the primary key of the table is "id" same as the alias i gave for the newid() query, so it made a cast conflict problem, ruby couldn't differentiate between the priamry key & the new guid query.
so all u need to do is:
class SalesTarget < ActiveRecord::Base
def before_save()
@result = SalesTarget.find_by_sql("select newid() as guid")
self.rowguid =@result[0].guid
end
end
Just add a "gu" :)

Mr Big Shot
If a woman took a bad turn or anything of the sort, the whole world in the street points out at her saying: "sure sure she's a woman driving, it's natural for her to make driving mistakes"
while if a guy did the same mistake, the whole world in the street'd say: "he didn't take notice, not a big deal".
How that drives me furious!!!!!!! I want to get this STRAIGHT ONCE AND FOR ALL, "Being a woman doesn't imply I'm a bad driver by nature, ARE WE CLEAR ON THIS GUYS?!"
On a side matter, I honestly don't know the deep relationship that develops between a guy and his car..I always find that amusing. I got a friend I can ensure u that If he ever got a child of his own, he won't love his child as much as he loves his own car!!
You guys r freaks about ur cars, while to us it's just some means of transportation, which sounds more logic to me.

Pleaaaase Hide my credit cards...QUICK
It's not the amount of things I buy that worries me, it's a far serious problem, I buy few items but really really expensive stuff. I need to quit this b4 it turns into a habit.
I think I'll go hand my credit cards to my mum or something :(
