Castles in the air

I just love building castles in the air, big huge luxurious ones. As vast my dreams are as magnified the castle can be.

You can find me even picking the colours of its walls and decorating its interiors. I can go into deep details of how perfect things'd be in my castle.

Unlike all castles, mine don't have a fence or any big wall to keep them safe. Their walls are so fragile, easily broken, that's why I keep them up in the sky away from any mischievous surroundings.

Should I toughen the walls before I pick the paint, or should I keep it perfect far away?!. It's like protecting ur dreams before they even come true.

So if u ever saw me sitting alone with a big smile on my face, just know I just finished building up another castle.

Callback Asp.Net Mystery

I'm facing a strange thing with Asp.Net and initiating callback to update a portion of the page containing a grid.

The problem is, it seems I can't update any other portion in the page nor can I add anything to the response body. I simply want to show an error message in case updating the grid fails. And mind u, even javascript fails to appear in the page after the callback.

I even tried redirecting to a separate error page but the response object seems to have no headers and can't redirect to any page!!

I hope I can post a solution for this, sure there's something I'm missing :(
Got any ideas?!

OWA Login

To manage a successful login to the Out look Web Access it's done thru the owaauth.dll on the outlook exchange server. You simply need to pass "the correct parameters", it took me a while to figure this out!!

Anyhow the owaauth.dll requires mainly those parameters:
Send a request with the destination, username and password. It's based on FBA(Form Based Authentication) , i.e: a POST is required

-Add the parameters to ur request body
-The Response object on a valid user login contains two cookies: (sessionid, cadata). So ur main check for a successful login can be the returned Cookies Count (Response.Cookies.Count > 2)

If your exchange mail server under SSL don't forget to use "https://" in ur exchanger server URL.

On LogOff, clear any cached credintials use this client side script:
document.execCommand("ClearAuthenticationCache",false);

The following article helped much:

A Bibler for a week now

I spent the last week being a new bibler(a term I invented-don't look it up- it stands for a member of bibliotheca alexandrina).

So being a bibler is not that bad so far, I'm handling some minor tasks, been making a customized menu using ASP.NET trying to introduce AJAX, seems the biblers are a bit behind. However, they keep a good clean code by having their conventions and rules, I admired their documentation actually.

I'm trying to b active but it's getting hard since my team is in a bored up mood.. I was hoping for a very enthusiastic team but I guess I shoud try even harder to cause a change.

One drawback is me waking up early each morning, I get so cranky like a small baby waking up from her nap but my mood lifts up during the day.

I hope I can continue on projects of my own besides being a bibler, I do miss my old co-workers yet I'm moving on thank God.

I Closed the door..

I closed eSpace door stood there for a moment and now all I can think of is the new door I'm opening. I hope behind it I'll find lots of achievements and all my aspiration.

Farewell eSpace..

Not Going To n Going To

I'm not going to b another flow in a pattern, I'm going to b a cause for a change.

I'm not going to follow rules blindly, I'm going to make the rules suit me.

I'm not going to stand my ground, I'm going to follow small steps along an improvement path.

I'm not going to bypass my faults and errors, I'm going to put them right in front of me.

I'm not going to lend myself to sadness, I'm going to make my own happiness by achieving higher immaterial goals.
